Skyline

Stair climbers that glide effortlessly and gracefully on the stairs.

The sky line is designed with caterpillar like tracks to glide a straight stair case with generous landing spaces spanning over a metre, making it an excellent choice for outdoor steps, communal spaces and heritage or historic buildings with minimal effort.

The Sky line is great for attaching a persons wheelchair preventing any transfer for the passenger, maintaining them in the comfort of their own chair. The skyline is popular with hotels, public buildings access, historic venues and temporary event structures.

What is a stair climbing wheelchair?

The stair climbing company offer a great range of stair climbers from compact models suited to tight landing spaces and winding steps to tracked wheelchair carriers suited to larger landings and greater spaces.

Portable and easy to dismantle for storage, the stair climbers are a great solution for mobilising across multiple sites for both indoor and outdoors spaces.

The benefit of a non fixed solution means that communal spaces and high traffic stairwells can be easily accessed without any permanent fixed obstruction.

What our clients say

  • Sean McQuaid

Stadium Operations Manager – Colchester Utd FC

“JobServe Community Stadium recently approached The Stair Climbing Company to service all the Stadium’s Evacuation Chairs and provide training for the staff of Colchester United Football Club. Chris and his team meticulously reviewed the current provision, serviced it, and provided recommendations to improve the operation of the equipment. Following this, they worked closely with us to come up with a mutually convenient date and time for staff training. On the day, Chris provided training for the staff with a high level of professionalism and followed this up with additional material to help with the future operation of the equipment. In summary, the Club were very happy with the service provided, and we would have no hesitation in using their services again.”

    Richard Battley

    HSE Manager – England Rugby

“At Twickenham Stadium we have committed to ensuring the venue is accessible to all. Whilst the design of the stadium brings its challenges, in particular the level two bars which had limited access via external stairs, we believe the recent procurement of the stair climber has provided sufficient and reasonable adjustments enabling wheelchair users quick and safe access. Not only does this improve our customer experience but is also available during our C&E events in the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation and is one of the many controls adopted within our ongoing inclusive access improvements. Certainly a worthwhile investment.”
