Were you aware that a ramp’s gradient to meet DDA requirements is set to 1 in 12? In Layman’s terms, one inch of height requires 12 inches of ramp length. With an average set of outside steps having 5 steps (at around 5 inches each), you would need a 25-foot ramp to meet the requirements.
