A stair climber is a great mobility solution that can be used to move children up and downstairs safely.

The stair climber is battery powered and can be easily transported and stored away in compact spaces when not in use.

Our children’s range offer bespoke solutions for families to safely move children in their own chair at home and grow to meet their future needs.

HIRE SERVICES

Hire options are available for single events, relative visits at home, events at venues and temporary structures. Longer term hires are available for rehabilitation or as a temporary replacement when a lift may be out of action or when there is no alternative solution. When the temporary hire is necessary to be extended we have the flexibility to moderate the price onto a long term hire option to support the budgeting process at your end. Lease hire options are also available to suit budgets.

PURCHASES

We can arrange a visit for you to make your decision upon seeing the stair climber in the environment it will inhabit with the potential user. All purchases come with a 2 year warranty, link to our online training video and an aftercare package will be offered to suit your requirements. You can purchase direct from the stair climbing company either single or multiple purchases with an immediate delivery or lead time of 7-10 days on multiple units.

VISITS & ASSESSMENTS

A unique solution relatively unheard of to most people which is why we offer to visit you in your home, venue or building to carry out a full assessment and suggest the most suitable stair climber for your needs. The visit gives you the opportunity to sit in the stair climber and the designated operator to operate it under our guidance, to see if the stair climber is the best solution.

Children’s case study

Occupational therapist, Louise Kimber, of Berkshire Council contacted us last year to arrange two home assessments for paediatric stair climbers, both children, under the age of 4, were living at home with severe disabilities and were having to be carried upstairs by family members.

The bespoke seating solution for a child meant that the paediatric stair climber could safely help move the children up and downstairs in their own homes, it also meant that the family would have a solution that would grow with the child. Specialist equipment can take time to process and fund under normal circumstances and so we stayed in touch with Louise over the last few months.

On the 16th March Louise contacted us with an urgent request to supply the solutions for both families as a matter of urgency. The families were moving into self-isolation due to the COVID-19 virus. The equipment was adapted immediately and by Wednesday the 18th March the paediatric stair climber was delivered and training given to both families to ensure their families were as safe, comfortable and living independently in their own homes for what was to be the defining moment of self-isolation across the UK

Every day we are passionate and dedicated to finding the right solution to help others and do whatever it takes to support our clients. By providing a mobility solution for these two families, we have enabled them to not only change their lives but manage their everyday routines in self-isolation.
